Combine egg whites, cream of tartar and — wait, don't forget the HERSHEY'S Chocolate Chips! These fluffy chocolate meringues are full of sweet bites of chocolate thanks to the "forgotten" chips hidden inside. Everyone will love the surprise!

    egg whites, at room temperature
  • 1/8 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 2/3 cup
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 cup
    HERSHEY'S Special Dark Chocolate Chips, HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips

Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.


Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt in small bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold in vanilla and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet.


Place cookie sheet in preheated oven; immediately turn off oven and allow cookies to remain in oven 6 hours or overnight, without opening oven door. Remove cookies from cookie sheet. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place.
