Holiday Pretzel Delights

A quick and easy microwave Christmas candy recipe, perfect for the holiday season. Of course, any recipe with ROLO® Candies and CADBURY Candy Coated Solid Milk Chocolate Snowballs is going to be good. Now, add some delicious pretzel crunch and you have a great holiday treat. Plus, a new go-to recipe for unexpected guests or last-minute gatherings.

  • ROLO® Creamy Caramels in Chocolate Candy, unwrapped
  • CADBURY Candy Coated Solid Milk Chocolate Snowballs
  • small pretzels


Equipment Needed 
Oven Oven
Cookie Sheet Cookie Sheet
Parchment Paper or Foil Parchment Paper or Foil

Heat oven to 250° F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil.


Adjust heating times for your oven. Some caramels are a bit firmer and require additional heating.


Place one pretzel for each pretzel treat desired on prepared sheet. Top each pretzel with caramel.


Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until caramel piece begins to soften, but not melt.* Remove from oven; top with candy snowball. Cool completely.


For an extra festive touch, drizzle treats with melted HERSHEY'S Premier White Crème Chips.

Microwave directions:
1. Remove wrappers from caramel candies. Place sheet of wax paper on microwave-safe plate.
2. Place up to six pretzels on prepared plate. Top each pretzel with caramel. Microwave at medium (50%) 30 seconds or until caramel has softened slightly. If necessary, microwave at medium an additional 10 seconds at a time until candy is softened. Carefully slide wax paper and pretzels onto counter top; gently press candy snowball onto soft caramel piece. Cool. Repeat procedure until desired number of treats have been prepared.
